Designer: Gio Ponti


This armchair was originally designed for a project closest to Gio Ponti's inner world - Villa Planchart.


It is part of the Gio Ponti collection, completed by Molteni&C under the artistic direction of the Cerri&Associa studio, on this piece the architect reflects on his inspiration from his travels to Latin America in 1952-53.

2. Armchairs: D.153.1

D.153.1 was designed in 1953 as part of the furniture of Gio Ponti's private residence in Via Dezza, Milan. This version was made by Molteni&C from the original drawings in the Gio Ponti archive.
